PAMI-TC calls for nominations for two awards to be presented at ICCV 2015 in Santiago. Both these awards are normally made on a biennial basis, and are presented at ICCV.


PAMI Azriel Rosenfeld Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is given to researchers in Computer Vision who have made major contributions to the field over their career and who have influenced the field in an extraordinary way.

Nominations

Nominations should consist of a statement of the nominee’s major contributions in research, education, administration, commercialization and service. Nominations should clearly state the influence the nominee has had in advancing the field of Computer Vision.

Applications should not exceed one page in length, and should be sent (preferably an attached PDF file) to this email address with the subject "Lifetime Achievement Award". The nominations should be received before October 15.

PAMI Distinguished Researcher Award

This award (formerly called Significant Researcher Award) is awarded to candidates whose research contributions have significantly contributed to the progress of Computer Vision.

Nominations

Nominations should contain a statement of the nominee’s major contributions in research, (e.g in a dot-point list), and be supported by an appraisal of the importance of this research contribution in influencing and inspiring other research.

Nominations should not exceed two pages in length, and should be sent (preferably an attached PDF file) to this email address with the subject "Distinguished Researcher Award". The nominations should be received before October 15.
